This morning I read “The Mouse Is Dead. I Just Killed It. Now Can We Move On?” The article from TechCrunch’s MG Siegler followed an earlier story which stirred up a comment storm on TC with the release of the new apple Magic Trackpad standalone device similar to what we find in our MacBook Pro’s. The new trackpad is aimed at replacing the familiar desktop mouse with all to familiar multi-touch trackpad. I find that my fingers cant stand near the restless hours that resting my hand on a mouse can. So the question is do you think the trackpad alone has what it takes to replace the mouse for the average user?
